The advantage of higher education

The Soissonnais Community has 1250 students in higher education. This number has been growing for 12 years, since the creation of the decentralized Institute of Technology (IUT) known as the Université Jules Verne de Picardie.

The Soissons-Cuffies site has three degree courses under development :

• Organisation and Management of Production (OGP)
• Electrical Engineering and Industrial Information Technology (GE2I)
• Science and Technology for Physical Activities and Sports( STAPS)

BTS (‘Brevet de Technicien Supérieur’ or Advanced Vocational Technician- Training Certificate – a 2-year employment-oriented technician qualification diploma)
